As everyone waits with bated breath for Pantone to release their Color of the Year 2018, paint companies are already spinning their color wheels and pronouncing a winner.
We already shared PPG’s pick back in June – a dark moody black with hints of lavender and grey. Like most darks, Black Flame will work well in small spaces, on an accent wall or to help bright colors pop.
Sherwin-Williams is going bold as well with their Color of the Year 2018 pick: Oceanside, a rich bold blue. Dark enough to highlight architectural features but also an exotic hue that will work with the global style trend.
And now another bold paint pick, this time by Benjamin Moore. Their choice for Color of the Year 2018 puts the heat front and center: Caliente. Wonderful as an accent or paired with whites, darks, greys and neutrals.
